For The Great European Carnival in Hong Kong, the team needed an RFID payment system to replace physical tokens used by more than a million visitors over 60 days, while also supporting multi-currency payments, top-ups, roaming sales, refunds, and offline operation across a large, busy site.

Famoco provided over 400 FX100 handheld devices as part of a 500-device deployment, enabling staff to load entitlements, process cashless payments, and support top-ups across the event. The solution replaced the outdated token system, improved queue times and payment speed, reduced token-handling errors and losses, and helped Event Genius process millions of transactions for over 1 million customers, while also enabling real-time reporting for the first time.
