This gave customers a dedicated, low-theft-value alternative to consumer smartphones, while enabling reliable access to Thinfilm tag data in production, quality control, and inspection workflows. The result was a fully validated solution that is commercially available today and allows industrial clients to deploy integrated smart packaging and NFC reading capabilities.
