Digitalize tax collection to make it more reliable, traceable and efficient

Innoving, an integrator and provider of digital services, needed to help the City Council of San Pedro in Ivory Coast address widespread fraud and poor traceability in municipal tax collection. To digitize the process, Innoving partnered with Famoco and deployed an Android-based mobile tax collection application on Famoco FX200 terminals.

Famoco provided dedicated, remotely manageable FX200 devices through its MDM platform, allowing collectors to enroll taxpayers, scan NFC cards, capture ID photos, geolocate businesses, and send payment confirmations by SMS. The solution improved security and control by blocking unauthorized apps and enabling device tracking, and it delivered strong results: more than 15,000 taxpayers were registered in under two months, over 100 collectors use the system daily, and one month of collections matched what the old system achieved in six months.
