1Check, a professional operations management solution for the hospitality industry, needed to help hotels and holiday centers digitize processes and connect staff beyond the front desk. While reception teams were already using a PMS, maids, housekeepers, and maintenance technicians still relied on paper and phone calls, making it difficult to communicate in real time, assign tasks, and track guest requests.

To address this, 1Check partnered with Famoco to create “staff-connected rooms” using Famoco’s secure Android devices, NFC tags, and 1Check’s web management platform. With Famoco, hotel staff could access room information instantly, while management gained real-time visibility into operations; at Hotel d’Aubusson in Paris, the solution streamlined task handling and cut out over 1,700 checks per year.
