Attendance tracking solution with SABACOM in Italy

SABACOM, an Italian provider of the Easy Plan Web ERP platform for SMEs and large companies in private security and healthcare, needed a better way to track employee attendance and verify that workers were checking in from the correct assigned location. After an initial attempt using Android tablets, the company wanted an NFC workforce management device that could communicate with its system, run its proprietary Android app, and be remotely controllable. Famoco provided the hardware and device management capability for this use case.

Famoco implemented the FX100+ NFC device with the Famoco Management Suite, giving SABACOM remote fleet control, app deployment, and usage restriction without Google Play dependence. The solution enabled employees to check in and out via NFC while managers monitored attendance and assignments in real time. As a result, two SABACOM customers in the private health sector are piloting the system for 200 employees, with SABACOM planning to expand the Famoco-based solution across more customers after the pilot.
