Comerso helps retailers, industrial companies, and logistics bases accelerate their “Zero-Waste” transition by digitizing the management, sale, and donation of unsold goods. To support this anti-waste mission, Comerso needed a simple, reliable way to deploy its apps in stores and handle scanning, labeling, and traceability at scale.
Famoco provided rugged FX200 and PX320 mobile devices, running the Famoco OS and managed through MDM, to host Comerso’s C-Don and C-Stick applications. The solution enabled fast donation tracking and short-dated product labeling with connected printers, helping deliver measurable impact including 190,000 meals distributed, 1,300 tons of goods saved from disposal, 780K€ in promotional revenue, 118K€ in tax savings, and about 73 tons of CO2 equivalent saved per hypermarket on average.
