mobileOn required a secure electronic form application to replace paper forms for collecting contact details and marketing agreements at events. Techstep implemented a solution using their FAMOC platform to configure the mobile devices in a secure Kiosk mode. This locked the tablets to only the e-kajet application, preventing access to any other apps or browsers to ensure data security. The solution also enabled remote device access for troubleshooting and provided periodic device reports. A significant measurable result was a major extension of the device battery life, allowing them to operate for up to two weeks on a single charge during events.
