Time Warner Cable turned to Fame to transform its payment centers into brand-building retail destinations. Fame designed a digitally enhanced 14,000-square-foot New York flagship and prototypes for hundreds of other locations, preserving payment and customer-service functionality while creating welcoming, interactive spaces focused on TWC technology.
Fame, in partnership with research firm GfK, implemented tech-savvy features such as mobile app stations, live product demos and personalization areas to educate customers and drive engagement. The results include 90% customer satisfaction, 75% saying the store improved their impression of Time Warner Cable, 74% willing to recommend the stores, retail becoming the second-largest sales channel, dramatic YOY sales gains (16–35% of channel growth from the 6% of transformed stores), Albany’s 1,000% YOY growth with sustained 35% ongoing growth, and increased representative productivity and work order quality.
