Case Study: Alko boosts safety reporting and data-driven decision making with Falcony

A Falcony Case Study

Preview of the Alko Case Study

Alko Chose Falcony When They Wanted to Involve All of Their Employees to Improve Safety Management

Alko, Finland’s state-owned alcohol retailer, wanted to modernize safety and risk management across its 2,400-employee organization. The company needed an easy-to-use mobile system that would be simple for employees to use and administrators to manage, while also improving data quality and making reporting more relevant to real store operations. Alko chose Falcony’s audit and observe modules to replace its older, less flexible system.

Falcony implemented the platform across Alko’s stores ahead of schedule, with SSO integration and automatic user rights from Alko’s own systems. The rollout quickly boosted adoption, and Alko began receiving 10x more monthly reports, with the same number of observations arriving in the first month as in the best full year of the previous system. Falcony also helped Alko expand usage beyond safety into audits, theft and burglary reporting, cleaning and security requests, and BI-driven analysis in QlikView.
