Strategic Concepts, Inc. (SCI) is a long-established developer of custom software for the trucking industry whose Strategy5™ suite delivers over 60 integrated modules to handle marketing, operations, billing, accounting and maintenance. SCI needed a portable, easy-to-use database with absolute data integrity and cost-effective high performance to support its enterprise customers, and selected FairCom’s c-tree Server for its internal data storage needs.

FairCom’s c-tree Server was integrated into SCI’s Strategy5 deployment — including a mirrored setup on two Dell 2300 dual‑processor servers running RedHat Linux — providing simple implementation, high availability and strong data integrity. As a result, SCI reported significantly higher performance and capabilities per dollar invested, the ability to offer high-end functionality at a fraction of alternative costs, and improved operational efficiencies attributable to FairCom’s solution.
