South East Water partnered with Faethm to better understand how digital transformation would change work across the organisation and to close the gap between technology adoption and employee capability. Using Faethm’s workforce analytics platform, including technology maturity and future capabilities assessments, South East Water sought clear insight into which technologies, roles, skills, and capabilities would be most affected so it could protect job security and keep employees engaged through change.
Faethm provided predictive workforce analytics that helped South East Water identify the organisational units with the greatest opportunity to gain capacity from new technologies, map future skills needs, and shape more targeted learning and development plans with UNSW Horizons. The results gave South East Water a clear roadmap for digital transformation, informed People & Leadership initiatives, and a stronger focus for workforce planning, enabling the organisation to retrain and redeploy employees more effectively and support a future-ready workforce.
