O’Reilly Media, a digital publisher, needed a better way to manage licensor and agent contracts, process royalties, and support its growing digital business. FADEL provided its Intellectual Property Management (IPM) Suite to help O’Reilly meet these back-end operational demands as its content model evolved.

With FADEL’s IPM Suite, O’Reilly automated royalty and rights management and later added a self-service portal for electronic statements and payments. The increased automation was significant enough that O’Reilly also launched a service bureau to manage rights contracts and royalties for other companies, including Microsoft Press, Kid’s Cancer Network, and MAC Publishing.
