FACTS Giving, a Nelnet company, partnered with Sacred Heart Catholic School — a small, long-established PreK–12 school in Arkansas with about 270 students and a strong alumni base — to address a major COVID-19 challenge: how to move their flagship annual bazaar online after the in-person event was canceled. The school needed a way to preserve traditionally robust fundraising (their bazaar historically raises six figures), engage multi-generational donors who give in different ways, and simplify backend administration.
Using FACTS Giving’s easy-to-use platform integrated into the school website, Sacred Heart ran a “stay-at-home” Bazaar Week with social media, mailings, student-led phone outreach, sponsor recognition, a visible goal ticker, text-to-give, and the manual-entry feature to include offline gifts. The solution streamlined donor tracking and reporting, kept donors engaged with real-time progress, and the online campaign far exceeded the school’s goals while reducing administrative time.
