A FACTS Case Study
Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, the world’s largest regional theme park operator with 20 North American locations, 1,900 employees and over 25 million annual visitors, faced a fast-paced onboarding problem: high turnover, many inexperienced hires, inconsistent and non-engaging training, poor mobile access and WiFi, short onboarding windows, the need to protect IP, and critical requirements for safety reporting and consistent park-specific knowledge.
Six Flags implemented CD2 Learning’s customizable, mobile-first platform using tablets and an offline-capable app, a Learning Process Map to deliver bite-sized microlearning, videos, simulations, gamified activities and authored assessments, plus tight WiFi controls. The solution improved engagement, ensured mastery (especially for safety), standardized training across managers, simplified content updates, cut travel and onboarding time for dispersed teams, and produced high satisfaction across age groups.
