When Johnson Controls needed to bring energy savings to the Los Angeles County Library System, they turned to FSG as the partner they could trust to get the job done right
LA County sought a lighting upgrade for their historic downtown library to achieve energy savings. They partnered with Facility Solutions Group (FSG), working with contractor Johnson Controls, to perform this extensive lighting retrofit project.
Facility Solutions Group implemented the solution by upgrading over 8,900 fixtures to new LED lamps and lighting control systems. The project was completed with minimal disruption to library operations and resulted in a significant measurable impact, including a peak demand reduction of 244 kW and annual energy savings of 790,000 kWh.
