USACE Updates Lighting at 7 Dams

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers faced the challenge of updating outdated and inefficient indoor and outdoor lighting systems across seven of its dam facilities. Facility Solutions Group was tasked with performing a complete lighting retrofit to bring these systems up to modern, high-efficiency standards.

Facility Solutions Group conducted an audit and implemented a solution that involved replacing nearly 2,000 fixtures with new LED technology. This project, which included both interior lamps and exterior fixtures, reduced energy demand by 154KW. The results provided the customer with over $56,000 in annual energy savings, superior lighting quality, and the security of a five-year warranty.
