Case Study: First United Methodist Georgetown upgrades sanctuary lighting with Facility Solutions Group

A Facility Solutions Group Case Study

Preview of the First United Methodist Georgetown Case Study

The project included installing all new lighting in the church sanctuary, as well as state-of-the-art lighting controls

The First United Methodist Church in Georgetown faced a significant challenge modernizing their over 100-year-old building. The historic structure lacked any provisions for electrical conduits and wiring, making a lighting retrofit and electrical renovation extremely complex. To solve this, they partnered with Facility Solutions Group (FSG) for the installation of new sanctuary lighting and advanced lighting controls.

Facility Solutions Group successfully executed the project by installing a complete secondary electrical service to power a new educational wing, all without ever taking the building offline. FSG demonstrated their capability in diverse disciplines by maintaining continuous service throughout the renovation, delivering a state-of-the-art lighting solution for the church's sanctuary and expanded facilities.
