Little Elm Independent School District sought to reduce operational costs through an energy-efficient LED lighting retrofit but needed a partner to streamline the project's execution to avoid a costly and lengthy bidding process. Facility Solutions Group (FSG) was engaged as the vendor to provide a tailored lighting solution that would meet the district's financial and sustainability goals.

By leveraging their status as a Buyboard contractor, FSG implemented a turnkey lighting retrofit for Little Elm ISD, saving the district time and money by circumventing the traditional bid process. The project resulted in significant energy savings of $69,943.50 over ten years and an annual reduction of 39,783 kWh, allowing the saved operational funds to be redirected back into the classroom. Facility Solutions Group continues to partner with the district to identify further savings opportunities.
