The General Services Administration faced the challenge of quickly mobilizing multiple teams of lighting engineers to perform an investment grade audit at five of its high-security buildings in New York City. This audit was a necessary first step for Trane to develop the lighting scope of work for a larger performance contract, and they enlisted Facility Solutions Group (FSG) to execute it.

Facility Solutions Group completed the audits and then collaborated with Trane to finalize the project's design and budgets. FSG was subsequently awarded the turnkey installation contract, utilizing their in-house electricians to replace 14,000 fixtures with new LED lights and controls. This project achieved significant energy savings of $1,400,000 for the customer.
