FSG Upgades Interior and Exterior Lighting

The Port Authority of NY and NJ sought to upgrade lighting at Stewart International Airport to improve energy efficiency and lighting quality in its maintenance areas, offices, and exterior spaces. Facility Solutions Group (FSG) was brought in to execute this LED lighting upgrade project.

FSG's solution involved replacing outdated T12 fluorescent and HID fixtures with modern T8 fluorescent systems and new LED fixtures. This upgrade resulted in significant energy savings of $8,214 and a 400% increase in exterior lamp life, which dramatically reduced the authority's maintenance costs while enhancing the site's overall lighting.
