FSG Supplies Top-Level Electrical Construction Services for League City Hospital Expansion

The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) required a Phase II expansion for its League City hospital, selecting Hensel Phelps as the general contractor. Hensel Phelps, in turn, chose Facility Solutions Group (FSG) to provide the electrical construction services for the project, which involved complex work tied directly into the active hospital with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

FSG executed the electrical construction for a new five-story patient tower and over 25,000 square feet of renovations within the existing facility. The project was completed on an accelerated schedule, allowing the expanded UTMB League City hospital to open in April 2020 and immediately assist with the area's COVID-19 response.
