FSG Provides Energy Savings and Refreshed Visual Appeal for Albuquerque Shopping Mall

Facility Solutions Group (FSG) was selected by property owner Washington Prime Group to upgrade the aging parking lot lighting at Cottonwood Mall in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The challenge was to improve safety and visual appeal for shoppers while capitalizing on the operational expenditure savings offered by an LED retrofit, all without disrupting the mall's daily operations.

FSG crews replaced 143 fixtures with new LED lighting, completing the project efficiently. The solution provided by FSG delivered immediate results, including an annual energy savings of $57,000 and a reduction in electricity usage by 552,000 kWh. The enhanced lighting also successfully created a safer, more inviting environment for customers.
