The North Texas Municipal Water District faced a challenge from invasive zebra mussels and drought conditions, which threatened the local water supply. To address this, they initiated a project to pipe water from Lake Texoma to their treatment plant and enlisted Facility Solutions Group (FSG) as the electrical construction contractor to implement a solution.

Facility Solutions Group installed four 1,500hp Variable Frequency Drives to power the pipeline's raw water pumps. Their comprehensive solution also included backup switchgear, new electrical buildings, emergency generators, distribution lines, and a new SCADA system for automated chemical treatment.
