The city of El Paso faced the challenge of retrofitting 18,000 streetlights with energy-efficient LED fixtures, a complex project with a very tight timeline. They engaged Facility Solutions Group (FSG), in partnership with Johnson Controls, which had only a few weeks after contract award to begin the massive installation and procurement process.

Facility Solutions Group leveraged its financial resources and vendor relationships to quickly procure materials and equipment, enabling the project to start strong. Over a three-year period, FSG successfully managed and completed the installation in seven phases, ensuring the city received the latest LED technology. The project was completed in early 2016 with a contract value of $1,800,000.
