Facility Solutions Group (FSG) was hired by Hotel Pennsylvania to address the challenge of modernizing the lighting within the historic Manhattan hotel while honoring its iconic style and sense of history. The project aimed to upgrade the property's outdated and inefficient lighting fixtures.

The solution implemented by Facility Solutions Group involved installing new energy-efficient lighting, including next-generation T8 lamps and cold cathode technology, across more than 1,400 fixtures in public and back-of-house areas. This lighting retrofit by FSG achieved significant annual energy cost savings of $143,000 for the hotel.
