Building Preservation, and construction of 91 hotel rooms, overlooking The Alamo

Hotel Indigo faced the challenge of renovating the historic Gibbs Building, an eight-story high-rise in downtown San Antonio. The project required an electrical contractor experienced in working with aging structures and within the tight, congested spaces of a busy city center. Facility Solutions Group (FSG) was selected as the electrical construction partner for this complex task.

FSG implemented its electrical construction expertise, utilizing off-site storage and Just-In-Time procurement to minimize on-site clutter in the confined space. They also assisted the owner by creating lighting mockups to ensure the new exterior lighting complemented the historic Alamo district. As a result, Facility Solutions Group successfully delivered the project, contributing to the building's revitalization and its integration into the neighborhood it has been part of for over a century.
