Austin Community College wanted to power its repurposed Highland Campus with clean, renewable energy as part of its commitment to providing a green environment for its students. Their challenge was to find a way to implement a solar solution that aligned with their sustainability goals. They worked with Facility Solutions Group to achieve this.

Facility Solutions Group designed and installed a 222.08 kWDC rooftop solar PV system for the campus. The solution is projected to save approximately $20,000 annually on utility costs and will produce 345.5 MWh of energy each year. FSG guaranteed a five-year payback period for the project, which also benefitted from substantial government incentives, ensuring long-term renewable energy and savings for the college.
