American Airlines Center - Customer Case Study

The American Airlines Center in Dallas faced a challenge with the aging and unreliable high-pressure sodium and metal halide lighting in its parking garages, which had become a maintenance nightmare. Facility Solutions Group provided a solution using Cree IG-series LED Parking Structure luminaires, which were first tested in a successful trial installation.

Facility Solutions Group implemented the full installation of 782 LED fixtures in approximately four weeks. The new lighting provided significantly higher quality, uniform light and improved the garage's aesthetics. The project resulted in calculated payback of just over two years, thanks to utility rebates and the low operating costs of the LED technology.
