Melbourne’s Renowned University, an internationally acclaimed campus spanning seven sites across 2,500 hectares in Melbourne, faced rising utility bills, poor occupant comfort, and no real-time visibility to optimize building performance. Facilio implemented real‑time monitoring, advanced energy analytics and proactive FDD to optimize chiller schedules, identify peak drivers and prioritize faults; this delivered improved occupant comfort, enhanced operational efficiency and measurable savings. As a result Facilio helped the campus realize potential energy savings of 5–10% (noted as 10% in the project), pinpointed inefficient chiller turn‑on times (6:45 AM and 7:15 AM) to curb initial power surges, and produced weekly fault summaries with root‑cause and cost‑impact analysis.
