SOFTGAMES, one of the world’s largest HTML5 game developers and publishers, wanted to bring its social games to a massive global audience while solving the challenge of monetizing Instant Games without hurting user experience or retention. Working with Facebook for Developers products such as Instant Games, Audience Network, and Facebook Analytics, SOFTGAMES focused on testing, player feedback, and group gameplay to grow its business.

With Facebook for Developers, SOFTGAMES monetized games using Rewarded and Interstitial Ads, optimized features through A/B testing, and used Game bot messages to improve retention. The results were strong: more than 60 million players reached, average session length up 300% for newer games, weekly retention up 250%, and ad fill rates rising to 92%.
