Ixigo, India’s leading online and mobile travel search platform, needed to improve its train travel app experience, simplify login, and better understand user behavior across its mobile apps. Using Facebook for Developers tools through the FbStart program, ixigo aimed to boost engagement and make its app more useful for millions of train travelers.

Facebook for Developers helped ixigo implement Facebook Login, Facebook Analytics for Apps, and Facebook Mobile App Ads. The solution improved the login flow, identified funnel drop-offs, and informed a new cached train availability feature that reduced drop-offs by 6%. It also drove stronger marketing results, including 12% higher engagement among Facebook Login users, more than 1,150 daily installs at a $0.04 CPI, and 24% more time spent in the app.
