CastBox Creates a World Connected by Sound with Facebook

CastBox, the podcast and audio app founded in 2016, wanted to create an intuitive, personalized listening experience that went beyond music while making it easy for first-time users to discover and share spoken audio. To support growth and user engagement, CastBox used Facebook for Developers products including Facebook Login, Sharing, Facebook App Ads, and Audience Network.

Facebook for Developers helped CastBox streamline sign-in and content syncing with Facebook Login, enable easy sharing of podcasts and episodes, drive global app installs through App Ads, and monetize with native ads via Audience Network. The results were strong: more than 60% of registered users log in with Facebook, 85% of podcasts and episodes are shared through Facebook, App Ads generated nearly 3 million installs in 10 months, and Audience Network contributed over 40% of in-app advertising revenue.
