Account Kit Helps YeeCall Go Global

YeeCall, an internet calling app founded in 2015, wanted to become a leading global communications platform but needed a more reliable and scalable way to handle user registration and sign-on across iOS and Android. Using Facebook for Developers’ Account Kit, YeeCall tested the service in select regions to improve adoption and reduce dependence on SMS-based verification.

Facebook for Developers implemented Account Kit to simplify login and add a fallback registration system, and then YeeCall rolled it out to all users. The results were strong: 50% of customers were using Account Kit within two months, registration completion rose 14% to an 80% average conversion rate, retention improved 5%, and YeeCall saved about $20,000 per month in SMS carrier fees while freeing up engineering time.
