A Fabric Case Study
The customer, Zipnosis, faced challenges with resource constraints, physician burnout, and a high rate of unused visit blocks due to cancellations and no-shows. This led to patients with low-acuity conditions either going untreated or seeking care elsewhere. To address this, Zipnosis partnered with the vendor Fabric to implement its intelligent adaptive interviews, an advanced form of asynchronous care.
By using Fabric's solution, Zipnosis enabled physicians to efficiently treat patients asynchronously. This approach consumed an average of only 89 seconds of provider work time per visit, allowing 10 visits to be completed in a single 15-minute block. The results included a 60% increase in clinical capacity and the generation of significant additional revenue, amounting to an increase of $65,000 annually by repurposing just one 15-minute block per day.
