MLK Community Healthcare reaches 5,000+ patients with Fabric's conversational AI

MLK Community Healthcare, a healthcare provider, sought to better reach and serve its patient community, particularly regarding COVID-19 information and access to care. They implemented a bilingual virtual assistant service from Fabric to address this challenge.

Fabric's solution, a virtual assistant named "Mia," engaged patients on the website to screen for COVID-19 symptoms, inform on vaccine eligibility, and direct patients to resources. Fabric also provided SMS outreach for vaccine notifications. This resulted in over 5,000 community screenings with an 88% completion rate. Furthermore, 22% of screenings were conducted in Spanish, and 37% of engagements were with new patients, significantly expanding the health system's reach.
