A Fabasoft Case Study

Wolters Kluwer - Customer Case Study

Wolters Kluwer worked with Fabasoft to modernize its editorial operations and move from desktop-based XML authoring to more efficient web-based workflows. The company needed a solution that could support industry-standard XML schemas, validate content against DTD/XSD and Schematron rules, integrate with existing systems, and serve both technical and non-technical authors through flexible, intuitive interfaces.

Fabasoft implemented Xeditor with configurable views, CSS-driven previews, and integration into Wolters Kluwer’s CMS and editorial workflows, while also training internal teams to handle additional DTDs and XSDs. As a result, Wolters Kluwer eliminated media breaks and Word-to-XML conversions, reduced maintenance, improved content guidance and metadata handling, and standardized processes across its environment, making collaboration and web-based publishing more efficient.
