GF Casting Solutions, part of Georg Fischer AG, operates 13 production sites worldwide and needed a better way to manage vendor collaboration for its tooling and document processes. Its challenge was to securely release standards, drawings, and other documents to suppliers, improve traceability, and fully automate document versioning across multiple locations and sources of tool data.

Fabasoft implemented Approve on Fabasoft PROCECO as the basis for GF Tool Manager, creating a cloud-based system for end-to-end tool lifecycle management and standardized supplier collaboration. The solution digitized tool-related data, introduced controlled approval workflows and version history, and is now used in Austria, Germany, China, and the US. The result is a single standard system that improves security, transparency, process quality, and makes working with suppliers easier, faster, and more secure.
