Siemens' "Operating Company Gas and Power" division faced the challenge of managing an overwhelming amount of paper documentation at large construction sites, which made it difficult to keep track of plans and ensure teams were working with the latest versions. They partnered with Fabasoft to utilize the Approve platform on Fabasoft PROCECO to create a digital solution for this problem.

The solution developed by Fabasoft was a mobile app that allowed construction coordinators to edit checklists and plans directly on tablets at the site, with all data synchronized to the cloud. This eliminated the need for printed documents, prevented the use of outdated versions, and dramatically reduced paper usage. Siemens reported higher project quality, a considerable reduction in manual coordination effort, and faster distribution of project data as a direct result of the Fabasoft implementation.
