Siemens Energy, a global energy company with 91,000 employees, needed a standardized cross-plant quality management solution for its Power Transformer segment across 14 sites in eight countries. The goal was to support computer-aided quality assurance, comply with the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle, strengthen continuous improvement, and better integrate SAP, customers, and suppliers.

Fabasoft implemented Approve on Fabasoft PROCECO as the cross-plant quality management platform, chosen for its low-code flexibility, usability, and cost-benefit profile. The solution digitized inspection planning, defect tracking, and 8D complaint workflows, enabled supplier collaboration, and supported predictive quality by monitoring production parameters; Siemens Energy said this will improve transparency, reduce error costs, and increase customer satisfaction, with a planned rollout to more than 3,000 users after the pilot phase.
