Xiamen Airlines Gives their Customers a Refreshed User Experience

Xiamen Airlines faced rising customer and internal expectations—better in‑flight and web experiences, faster mobile and ticketing services, and secure, accelerated access to enterprise apps like aviation management, CRM and ERP. To meet these demands they selected F5 Networks and deployed F5 BIG‑IP DNS, BIG‑IP ASM and BIG‑IP LTM to modernize and scale their infrastructure.

F5 Networks implemented application‑layer security (including BIG‑IP ASM and a joint database‑firewall approach), DDoS mitigation, traffic management with BIG‑IP LTM and DNS for high availability, while working closely with Xiamen’s IT team on planning and deployment. The upgrade went live on schedule and delivered improved performance and security, higher service availability, a better user experience, easier deployment and management, increased productivity and reduced human errors.
