ODN Uses F5 Solutions for Caching, Load Balancing, and DDoS Protection

ODN, an Internet system house and service provider, faced an aging, heterogeneous server farm that could no longer meet requirements for high availability, caching, load balancing, and protection against novel DDoS attacks. To address these challenges, ODN chose F5 Networks, adopting the BIG-IP platform and F5 Silverline DDoS Protection to replace its outdated open-source stack.

F5 Networks implemented BIG-IP modules (LTM, DNS, AAM, AFM, ASM, APM) and Silverline DDoS Protection to consolidate caching and load balancing on a single platform, with F5 consultants supporting a rapid migration.
