Minsheng Bank Partners With F5 to Create an Industry-leading, Unified Containerized Architecture

China Minsheng Bank, China’s first national joint-stock commercial bank, adopted containerized environments to support digital transformation and improve deployment speed and efficiency. As its services grew, the bank found its legacy application services were not unified with its containerized apps, creating deployment inefficiency, operations and maintenance issues, higher communication costs, and security concerns.

To address this, China Minsheng Bank worked with F5 Networks and deployed F5 BIG-IP Application Services, BIG-IP Virtual Editions, and F5 Container Ingress Services to build a unified containerized architecture. The new setup improved management, scalability, and visibility, and a performance test showed the new architecture’s RPS Index was four times higher than the original while TPS was twice as high; launch time for new services was shortened by more than 30 percent.
