Miami-Dade Public Library needed to deliver secure, high-availability virtual desktops (VMware Horizon View) to more than 1 million registered cardholders and 6.2 million annual visitors across 49 branches and 1,647 public access computers, all while running a lean IT team. To meet performance, availability, and security requirements on a tight budget, the library turned to F5 Networks, using BIG-IP LTM together with F5 iApps and iHealth.
