INSEE Digital supports Siam City Cement Company’s Future Needs with app-centric hybrid infrastructure

INSEE Digital Company Limited, the IT subsidiary of Siam City Cement, needed a reliable, flexible and secure application-centric data center to support digitalization and a SAP HANA 4 deployment on a tight nine-month schedule. To meet these strategic business objectives and ensure interoperability with existing Cisco and SAP solutions, INSEE selected F5 Networks and its BIG-IP LTM as the core platform for the new infrastructure.

F5 Networks deployed BIG-IP LTM (plus DDoS protection, vCMP and integration with Cisco APIC) to provide load balancing, scalability, security and simplified operations. The solution let INSEE build the data center in four months (one month ahead of schedule), provision new application servers in about four hours (previously months), and meet new connection requests within half a day, while improving interoperability with SAP and Cisco and reducing troubleshooting overhead.
