F5 Networks implemented routing and application delivery across ING Direct’s data centres for 300+ applications and 100+ custom off‑the‑shelf apps, using features such as SSL offloading, FastTCP/OneConnect performance enhancements, application port binding, app-layer security, seamless traffic switching and health monitoring. As a result, ING Direct conducts monthly disaster‑recovery testing with zero data loss, reports zero planned outages and 100% system availability, improving user experience, service availability and resource optimisation.
