Fullcast Preempts Attacks and Achieves Higher Cost/Performance Ratio Using F5 Security Solution

Fullcast Holdings Co., Ltd., a leader in human resource staffing and payroll services that runs a high-traffic Cast Portal and launched a new My Number Collection and Management business, needed stronger, faster protection against rising fraudulent access and application-layer attacks (XSS and layer‑7 threats) while keeping operational costs sustainable. After evaluating options, Fullcast selected F5 Networks solutions—BIG-IP ASM, BIG-IP LTM, and BIG-IP 2000s—to meet those security and cost challenges.

F5 Networks deployed redundant BIG-IP 2000s, used BIG-IP LTM to distribute load across web servers, and implemented BIG-IP ASM as a web application firewall, with monitoring outsourced to Dell SecureWorks and hands-on implementation support and documentation from F5. The result was clear visualization of inbound access, faster detection and mitigation of XSS and other attacks via signature tuning, lower deployment and operational costs versus cloud WAF alternatives, and an improved cost/performance ratio driven by reduced implementation time.
