ET Net, one of Hong Kong’s largest securities firms and operator of a financial information platform serving more than 100 financial institutions, faced rising mobile traffic, increasing malware/DDoS threats, legacy network capacity limits that caused application delays and downtime, and mounting maintenance workload. To tackle these challenges, ET Net engaged F5 Networks and deployed BIG‑IP ASM, BIG‑IP LTM and BIG‑IP DNS.

F5 Networks implemented BIG‑IP ASM as a web application firewall and upgraded BIG‑IP LTM and BIG‑IP DNS across ET Net’s two Hong Kong data centers, providing SSL offload, single‑pass decryption, traffic steering and proactive bot/malware mitigation. The solution delivered higher reliability and security, faster application delivery with reduced downtime, cost‑efficient scaling without adding servers, and dedicated F5 support—boosting platform stability and customer confidence.
