Directorate General of Taxes of Indonesia Ensures Reliability and Safety of Applications with F5

The Directorate General of Taxes of Indonesia faced mounting pressure to deliver reliable, secure e-services nationwide amid rapid IT growth, rising user demand, and increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. To future-proof its infrastructure and maintain high application availability and performance, the organization turned to F5 Networks and its BIG-IP family (including BIG-IP LTM).

F5 Networks deployed BIG-IP LTM for load balancing, BIG-IP AAM for application acceleration (reverse-proxy caching) and BIG-IP ASM for application security (SSL visibility, bot detection and DDoS protection). As a result, DGT achieved up to 99% application availability, improved application speeds by 3x, strengthened security posture, lowered CapEx/OpEx, and gained a more agile, scalable IT infrastructure.
