Central Tanshi FX Co. Rebuilds Its System Infrastructure, Increases Service Speed with F5

Central Tanshi FX Co., a retail foreign-exchange trading firm, needed to eliminate a firewall/load‑balancer bottleneck and accelerate delivery of currency rates to meet customer demand. To unify appliances and boost throughput, Central Tanshi FX Co. selected F5 Networks and its BIG‑IP platform (BIG‑IP LTM, BIG‑IP DNS and BIG‑IP AFM) along with the iRules scripting capability.

F5 Networks consolidated firewall, load‑balancing and link‑control functions into a one‑box BIG‑IP solution, improving multihomed routing with Auto Last Hop and enabling SSL acceleration and easier operational scripting. The deployment eliminated the bottleneck, cut rack space and operational costs, strengthened DoS protection, and enabled new services — delivering rates about ten times faster after the October 2015 implementation.
