Başari Mobile Raises Its Game With Faster, More Available Services For Smartphone Users

Başari Mobile, a leading Turkish provider of mobile games and content serving 12 million customers annually, faced growing traffic spikes that strained its open‑source delivery platform and threatened SLAs, customer experience and revenue. To address slow page loads, backend overload and rising operational costs, Başari turned to F5 Networks and its BIG‑IP solution (BIG‑IP 1600 with BIG‑IP Local Traffic Manager and iRules) to modernize front‑ and middle‑tier delivery.

F5 Networks implemented BIG‑IP LTM for load balancing, content switching, caching, compression and custom HTTP routing via iRules, deployed with partner Infrasis. The result: availability rose from about 80–85% to 99.5%, bandwidth efficiency improved ~180–200% through compression, CPU use fell from 78% to 20%, per‑transaction latency dropped ~15–20 ms (about one‑third), page loads often under 1.5s, backend load from high‑hit apps was largely eliminated, and Başari avoided SLA penalties.
